Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Caliper on iOS, Android, and the web, together with the notices below.
Effective date: August 23, 2026
License agreement
Caliper is licensed, not sold, to you.
On iOS, your license is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which applies to apps made available through the App Store.
On Android, your license is governed by these Terms of Use, together with Google Play's terms of service.
Your license follows the platform you install and use Caliper on, not where you paid. If you subscribe on the web and then install the app on iOS, Apple's Standard EULA still governs your use of the iOS app — while the subscription itself remains billed on the web, as described under Subscriptions below.
Subscriptions
Caliper offers auto-renewing subscriptions. How you are billed — and how you cancel — depends on where you started the subscription.
Subscriptions started on the web. If you subscribed at getcaliper.app rather than inside the app, payment is processed on the web by our payment processor and charged to the card you entered at checkout. It is not billed through the App Store or Google Play, and it will not appear in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You can manage or cancel it anytime at your subscription page, where you can also update your payment method and view billing history. Cancel before your renewal date to stop the next charge.
Subscriptions started in the app on iOS. Payment is charged to your Apple Account through the App Store. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings, and turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Subscriptions started in the app on Android. Payment is charged to your Google account through Google Play. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play, and turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
In every case your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
Introductory offers. Some plans may include an introductory price — for example, a discounted first year — or a free trial period, that applies for a stated period, after which the subscription renews at the standard price. Where such an offer applies, the exact price, offer period, and renewal terms are shown to you before you purchase — on the checkout page if you subscribe on the web, or in the app if you subscribe there — and the subscription auto-renews at the standard price unless you cancel.
Refunds
Purchases made in the app. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple and Google, so refunds are handled by them under their respective store policies. We are not able to process store refunds directly. To request one, use the refund process in the App Store or Google Play.
Purchases made on the web. Subscriptions bought at getcaliper.app are processed by our payment processor rather than by a store, so the app stores cannot refund them and their refund processes do not apply. Contact us at support@getcaliper.app and we will review your request. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer law.
Not medical advice
Caliper is an organizational tool. Caliper organizes your data — it doesn't recommend a dose, schedule, or outcome. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for verifying any calculation against your own vial, prescription, and provider. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any question about your dose, schedule, or health.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Caliper only for your own lawful, personal purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and the app stores' terms. You agree not to misuse the App — including by attempting to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to the App or our systems, or by using it in any way that infringes the rights of others.
Disclaimer of warranties
Caliper is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, backup, or feature will meet your requirements. Your use of the App is at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Caliper after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law provides otherwise. This provision is a placeholder pending legal review.
Eligibility
Caliper is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using Caliper, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
